2013 - Hmmmm.

This is another confounding one. I've always thought we only missed two year (2001 and 2004) due to personal conflicts, however, I have no record or photos of a trip this year.

Also, I do remember that I was in attendance in Indianapolis when Kentucky played Duke when the Cardinals' Kevin Ware suffered the most gruesome injury in college basketball history. I was there with my father-in-law and brother-in-law and we didn't see the injury happen in real time. There was just a collective gasp. He fell to the ground and there was an instant circle of teammates and officials around him as it happened right in front of the Louisville bench. It took a general whisper through the crowd from people who were calling friends watching at home with the benefit (or curse, in this instance) of instant replay.

So, if I was in Indianapolis for the Elite Eight I couldn't have been in Vegas - or anywhere else with Mark and/or Ezra.
